Marco van Basten looks set to continue as the coach of Holland despite coming under heavy criticism in recent months.
The coach is under heavy fire in the press and from fans but KNVB chairman Henk Kesler is satisfied with the coaching achievements of the former international star.
"Four defeats in 42 international games," Kesler said in De Telegraaf.
"Who achieves that? We will sit around the table in December and will decide most probably in January."
Van Basten, who replaced Dick Advocaat after Euro 2004, refuses to talk about speculation on his future.
"We play against Belarus first," he said.
"We step onto the pitch again, looking for a good result. In December, I will speak with KNVB about my future."
Under Van Basten, Holland easily qualified for the 2006 World Cup and Euro 2008.
