Bert van Marwijk will return to Australia to watch the 2018 A-League Grand Final.
The Dutch coach has left his scouting mission in Europe to witness the likes of Dimitri Petratos and James Troisi lock heads in this weekend's decider.
Van Marwijk will also be keeping a close eye on several of the younger talent on show, as the Socceroos boss prepares to name his extended squad for Socceroos friendlies against Czech Republic and Hungary in June.
In Ferbuary, van Marwijk watched a weekend of A-League action and said that Newcastle's 2-0 defeat of Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park was the "one good game."
