Oranje boss Bert van Marwijk has omitted the trio due to their lack of club football as part of sweeping changes to the party which lost to Spain in the World Cup final in South Africa.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Andre Ooijer and Sander Boschker have retired from international football while Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has a hamstring injury.

"I have not called on Babel and Braafheid due to a combination of last season and the recent situation at their clubs," Van Marwijk said.

"Edson (Braafheid) hardly played last season and it is not looking any better at the moment and that is the same for Ryan (Babel)."

Ron Vlaar, Erik Pieters, Vurnon Anita, Jeremain Lens, Theo Janssen and Hedwiges Maduro have all been included.

Holland visit San Marino on September 3 before hosting Finland four days later.
