Arsenal believe they can kick on and win their first trophy in five years, according to striker Robin van Persie.
The Dutchman captained the Gunners and opened the scoring from the penalty spot as they booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League by beating Partizan Belgrade 3-1 this evening.
Asked if they believed they could end their trophy drought, Van Persie told ITV1: "We have to. Everything starts with belief. If you don't have belief you'd better stop playing football.
"We do believe."
