Arsene Wenger's side continued the impressive opening to the new campaign with a 3-0 victory over Sevilla in the Champions League at Emirates Stadium last night.

Having now chalked up seven wins from eight matches, there certainly seems no hangover from the summer sale of Thierry Henry, so long the focal point of the team.

Ironically, it was the departure of their talisman which has allowed Wenger's emerging side to play with a new-found freedom and renewed panache, lead by Cesc Fabregas at the heart of midfield.

That certainly proved too much for Sevilla, coached by Tottenham - and some say now Chelsea - target Juande Ramos and who were supposed to be the toughest challenge Arsenal would face in Group H.

Nevertheless, Wenger has urged his young squad - currently without injured captain William Gallas - to remain grounded as the plaudits come thick and fast.

Van Persie - on target during the second half last night - firmly believes there is no other team around like the Gunners.

"The joy everyone is playing with is tremendous. We are a young side, yes, but I think the qualities are immense," the Dutchman, 24, said.

"The togetherness in this team is unbelievable.

"Everyone wants to run for each another, everyone fight for each other and everyone is giving and if you give, you accept."

Van Persie declared: "This is a unique team in Europe. We are unique because, as we say in Holland 'the nose is pointed at the same direction'.

"I was a bit of an individual, but the boss slowly taught me how to play together and that you get more out of your career when you work together.

"He brought this learning for everyone.

"If you are new you get your chances to play and slowly you think the Arsenal way.

"I know everyone is thinking the Arsenal way and that can make a big difference as well. Not many teams are playing the way we play."

Despite racing to the top of the Barclays Premier League and their impressive start to the European campaign, Wenger knows trophies are not handed out in September.

Van Persie firmly believes Arsenal - Champions League finalists two seasons ago, but without silverware since lifting the 2005 FA Cup - have the makings of another legendary side, but warned they must be allowed to develop at their own pace.

"You can ask too much of yourself. I am human and I am only 24. It can sort of block you," he said.

"But I am not scared of that because if you play at Arsenal you have to take responsibility every year and each time, give a bit more."

Van Persie added: "I know what this team is capable of. We will have to see.

"It is a bit early to give you a good picture.

"I do not think we have to be the champions this year. Let us say, for example, within three years we have to win a few trophies.

"That is a better idea, a bit more realistic.

"You can not say 'we will win this, we will win that'.

"Hopefully it will happen this year - but it can happen next year as well. We have big, big opponents to play against."

Arsenal, however, will be expected to chalk up another comprehensive win in the Premier League this weekend with the visit of struggling Derby.

Although the newly-promoted Rams secured their first win of the season over Newcastle on Monday night to move off the bottom, they have yet to score a goal away from home and have shipped 11 - including six at Anfield.

Gallas is set to need another week to recover fully from his groin problem, but keeper Jens Lehmann could be in contention following an elbow injury.

Midfielder Tomas Rosicky, meanwhile, has suffered another setback and was forced off last night.

"He has done his hamstring again," confirmed Wenger. "He will be out at least two weeks."

Wenger has a few injury concerns ahead of Saturday's game.

The Arsenal manager confirmed Lehmann would not yet return, while defender Philippe Senderos and winger Alexander Hleb are both now doubtful.

Wenger said: "We have a few knocks and bruises.

"Hleb is a major doubt because of a kick on his knee. He has fluid on it today so we'll see how it goes down. Senderos is a doubt with a hip problem. We don't know how bad that is.

"We'll see how it responds to treatment on Friday morning.

"I could not give you a percentage chance on their fitness at this stage."

Wenger told Arsenal TV Online: "I will rotate a little bit to bring in some fresh players.

"Who, I don't know yet because that depends on whether Hleb and Senderos will be available."
