The Belgium international lasted just 19 minutes of the 2-1 defeat at White Hare Lane before he had to be replaced.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger told the Arsenal website, www.arsenal.com: "Certainly it is a calf strain. (He will be out for) two to three weeks."
