Former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron - now aged 32 and playing for Estudiantes in his homeland - has been added to Argentina's training squad ahead of the Copa America.
Argentina coach Alfio Basile has already selected nine overseas players to the party following the end of the domestic seasons in Germany, England, Portugal and Italy.
Included in those nine are West Ham's Carlos Tevez, Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano, Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze and Inter Milan's Hernan Crespo.
Argentina's final 22-man Copa America squad must be named by June 21 ahead of the tournament opener against the USA on June 28 in Venezuela.
Basile`s side will also face Paraguay and Colombia in Group C, which will be held in Maracaibo and Barquisimeto.
