EXCLUSIVE: Phoenix keeper Glen Moss could be off to Melbourne Victory as a replacement for Michael Theoklitos, his club has conceded.
"We are in negotiations with Glen [Moss]," said Phoenix CEO Tony Pignata of the rumours emanating from Melbourne over the weekend.
"I think we can give him what he wants in terms of dollars but at the end of the day, a club like Melbourne comes a calling it'd be a serious decision for him to make."
Moss, 25, has been out of the Phoenix first XI of late with fellow Kiwi Mark Paston taking the gloves for the last couple of months.
Pignata added: "They're [Victory] a big club and a good club. And I'm not sure if Michael [Theoklitos] has signed or not. You'd need to speak to them about that."
Theoklitos is off contract this season and is rumoured to be attracting interest from overseas clubs.
