Melbourne Victory Nick Ansell has signed for K League 2 side Jeonnam Dragons.
It was reported by The Covert Agent James Donachie has re-joined Victory as part of a swap deal after spending a season with the Dragons who got relegated from South Korean football’s top flight.
Sources close to Ansell have told FTBL that the swap has been confirmed, with Donachie set to undergo his medical this afternoon at AAMI Park. The centre-back was spotted wearing No.17 at Gosches Paddock this morning.
It is understood Ansell is keen to test himself outside of the A-League after spending a year with Portuguese side CD Tondela last season.
The 24-year-old played seven games for the Big V this season after returning to his second stint at the club after battling injuries in Portugal.
Victory meet Sydney FC at AAMI Park on Saturday night.
