Brisbane Roar will travel to regional Victoria to face Melbourne Victory in a pre-season friendly next month.
The two A-League sides will meet at Morshead Park in Ballarat on September 1 as they continue their preparations for the new season.
It will be Victory's first pre-season clash against A-League opposition, but the two sides met just last week in the FFA Cup Round of 32, in which Victory won 5-1.
Before making their way to Ballarat, Victory still have a friendly to come against Oakleigh Cannons, as well as their FFA Cup Round of 16 tie with Adelaide United.
Meanwhile, Brisbane will play a behind closed doors friendly against Western Sydney Wanderers on the Gold Coast this Friday.
