Former Olyroos and Adelaide United coach Aurelio Vidmar has reportedly been named head coach of Bangkok Glass for the rest of the Thai Premier League season, with a one-year option.
Fox SportsĀ reports thatĀ Vidmar will link up with former Brisbane Roar defender and current Bangkok Glass captain Matt Smith who has made a name for himself at the club with 55 appearances and four goals.
It continues a strong Australian legacy at the club which stretches back to Phill Stubbins' reign at the club.
'The Rabbits' find themselves 12 points off the pace - behind local rivals Bangkok United - for an Asian Champions League spot with 9 games left in the season.
