DARIO Vidosic is giving everything he has in the battle for a spot in Pim Verbeek's World Cup 23 but accepts the boss knows best in the final reckoning.
Vidosic did his hopes no harm at all with a goal in the recent win over New Zealand but is by no means certain to make the final cut.
''As a footballer, to go to the World Cup is a dream come true and everyone's fighting for it,'' he told Fairfax newspapers.
"At the end of the day, it's all about what you've done. If I can look back and know I did everything I could, then I suppose I've got to be happy. Pim knows who to take, and who the best 23 are.
''He's been around football a long time, he knows what's best for Australia and what's best for the team.''
