AUSSIES ABROAD: World Cup hopeful Dario Vidosic got a rare start and played a full game for MSV Duisburg who lost 2-0 at FC Augsburg in Germany's 2.Bundesliga.
Vidosic, who is on loan at Duisburg from top flight club FC Nurnberg, along with Soren Larsen came into the starting eleven for suspended duo Christian Tiffert and Caiuby.
But the 23-year-old Australian, making just his second start for the Zebras since joining in January, had few opportunities in attack as promotion-chasing Augsburg dominated.
Stephan Hain and Ibrahimi Traore got the goals for Augsburg who cement third spot, while Duisburg's promotion hopes look over as they're fifth, eight points behind their conquerors with three games to play.
In England's League One, Dean Heffernan's Huddersfield Town defeated Millwall 1-0 to firm for a playoffs spot. Heffernan, though, was missing after not recovering from a dead leg suffered last week.
In Singapore's S-League, Aussie midfielder Goran Subara put in a full shift as Gombak United lost 2-1 at Woodlands Wellington.
