Brisbane opened the scoring against the run of play thanks to Ben Halloran's opportunistic 26th minute strike and were decked by injuries to key pair Besart Berisha and Mitch Nichols in the second half.
Victory levelled shortly after the break thanks to Mark Milligan, but Theo kept the hosts at bay, producing a stellar save to deny Gui Finkler.
“Today the first goal was crucial for us, to get our noses in front,” Vidosic said.
“We survived the first 15-20 minutes, it really was some heroic defending.
“From then on I thought we controlled the game, created a few chances and caused them quite a few problems.”
Brisbane’s mentor saved some special praise for his No.1 who made several key saves throughout the match.
“Michael has had many good games for us and this is just one of those many,” he said. “He was outstanding.”
Next up for Brisbane is a home game against 2011-12 Grand Final opponents Perth Glory on Friday evening.
