Vidosic, 23, has struggled for game time this season at Nurnberg making just five appearances this campaign, his last a nightmare match on November 20 where he was played at full-back and substituted before half-time.

It is believed Vidosic's loan switch, which will begin January 1 and run until the end of the season, will rule him out of Australia's 2011 Asian Cup squad as he seeks to sort out his club future after a disappointing run.

Arminia, who were relegated from the Bundesliga in 2009, are currently languishing in bottom spot in Germany's 2.Liga with seven points at the halfway mark.

Vidosic, who had a loan stint at second club MSV Duisburg last season, arrives in Bielefeld alongside other new signings Eke Uzoma and Sandy Kaiser from 1860 Munich.

Arminia CEO Ralf Schnitzmeier said: "With Uzoma, Kaiser and Vidosic we have added three good players, but our efforts to significantly improve the team's quality is not yet complete. The work goes on."

It is understood there is a possibility for Vidosic, who is out contract at Nurnberg at the end of the season, to make the switch to Arminia permanent should he impress.
