Roar CEO Lawrence Oudendyk said that it would be premature to suggest that Vidosic will be leaving Queensland as he still has one year left on his two-year contract, but did say that the Young Socceroo and Olympic hopeful goes to Europe with the club's blessings.

"Dario's agent informed us that FC Nurnberg were interested in having a look at him and whilst he has a year left on his contract we agreed to let him go for this trial for a period of two weeks.

"This fits in with his Under 23 commitments and we'll know more about his future when he returns. We haven’t spoken about transfer fees or other conditions at this stage. We have simply agreed to let him go for this trial and where it will lead we don't know at this point in time," Oudendyk said.

FC Nurnberg already have a strong Australian contingent with former Central Coast Mariners defenders Dean Heffernan and Michael Beauchamp, Socceroo Josh Kennedy and young defender Matthew Spiranovic amongst their ranks. Vidosic says this will help him adjust when he arrives for his two-week trial.

"There are a few Aussies there so that will help me when I get there. I'm going for the experience and to see what it’s like.

If it works out it works out, but if not then I’ll be very happy to come back to Queensland Roar and play in the Hyundai A-League.

"It's always been a dream of mine to play in Europe. This is one of the better clubs and they’re doing well at the moment.

"As a player you always want to see how you go against top professionals and I’m no different to anyone else in that respect.

"It'll be a good experience and I’m grateful to Queensland Roar for letting me go," Vidosic said.
