MARK Viduka's club boss has spoken of his frustration with the Socceroos striker now ruled out for a further two weeks with an achilles problem.
He had been expected back in the Newcastle United squad for the clash with Hull City but instead it's likely to be another fortnight before he is considered for selection.
Newcastle were delighted with Viduka's impact during the latter stages of last season and they were hoping he could do the same this time and help the club pull clear of the drop zone.
Caretaker boss Chris Hughton told the Evening Chronicle: "It is frustrating because if we are talking about influential players or players who could make a difference, Mark Viduka is one of them.
"When I came here around about this time last season, Mark Viduka had been injured and was back fit and played almost to the end of the season, and he played a big part."
"We are hoping he will be back available within the next two weeks - if that's the case, that gives us another option."
