FC Volendam secured their return to the Eredivisie on Friday night after clinching the Jupiler League crown with a 1-0 win over ADO Den Haag.
Coach Stanley Menzo could barely control his emotions at the full-time whistle.
"It is gigantic!" he exclaimed. "I can't describe what is going on in my head at the moment.
"It is so beautiful, as a coach this is the first title for me. I have just started and then I am part of this.
"At such a moment, words fail me. I watched the clock and I saw the time tick away... 84, 88, 90 minutes. Then (goalkeeper) Jeroen (Verhoeven) picked up a ball and then you know that it is done."
The key to the success was clear for Menzo, who added: "We were a real unit and everybody was willing to go through a fire for the others."
