Built on the grounds of the old Parramatta Stadium, the new Western Sydney Stadium will become one of Australia’s top footballing venues.

Set to sit 30000 people, the existing spine-tingling atmosphere at Wanderers home games is set to become even better, with it’s steep seating and the addition of a ‘safe standing’ area.

With an estimated cost of $300m, the outside of the stadium will also be just as attractive. Gigantic LED screens are planned to be installed on the outside of the stadium walls, so that fans outside can  feel the atmosphere as well.

Western Sydney's community is the main focus for the stadium, with the local government hoping the new arena will become a place of great significance.

According to Infrastructure NSW, the new Western Sydney Stadium will be completed by 2019.
