The two A-League sides will be bringing their star players to regional Victoria in September.
Western Sydney Wanderers and Melbourne City will tackle in a pre-season friendly in Shepparton on September 22.
The game will act as a launch event for the redeveloped McEwen Reserve, home of the Goulburn Valley Suns in Victoria's NPL2.
The fixture will take place just two weeks before the start of the 2017/18 A-League season.
It will also be the third time City have brought pre-season fixtures to the area, after playing Wellington Phoenix in 2011 and the GNEFA All-Stars in 2013.
"Vital to our preparations for the new A-League season is playing quality opposition in a professional environment and this match will provide us with access to a great facility in a region that has a genuine passion for top-level football," said new City head coach Warren Joyce.
"To have this sort of facility and such passionate fans so close to the city will be a great experience for the players."
