CRYSTAL Palace boss Neil Warnock has confirmed that Socceroo Nick Carle is a player he desperately wants to land at Selhurst Park.
It is thought a fee between Palace and Carle's present club Bristol City has been agreed and all that remains is for the player to agree personal terms.
Carle helped destroy Palace's Premier League hopes last season and Warnock is impressed with the former Newcastle Jet's qualities.
He told the South London Press: "Carle is the type we're looking for.
"Both him and our other target have not only got bags of ability but also enthusiasm and legs - they go all over the pitch.
"They would help bring a little more dimension to us attacking wise."
