The footage shows a flare or Molotov cocktail-style petrol bomb thrown into the away end before exploding in a bomb-like manner. Ajax supporters rushed to leave the stand.
There were also reports that the Greek Police rushed into the away supporters and were hitting the Ajax fans in response.
Police had clashed with rival Greek fans in Athens earlier in the day, where similar petrol bombs were thrown towards the police and rival fans.

The Champions League tie was further disturbed when firecrackers were set off at the beginning of the second half with smoke impacting players on either side of the clash.
The game finished 2-0 to Ajax through two goals from Dusan Tadic as Athen's striker Marko Livaja was sent off.
Ajax are through to the Champions League round of 16 for the first time since 2005.
