Tim Cahill has copped a three-match ban from the Football League after admitting to violent conduct in a match against Fulham.
The three-game suspension is for appearing to elbow Fulham defender Ryan Fredericks in the neck during the Lions' 3-0 loss at the Den.
All you hear is Fulham fans moaning about the @Tim_Cahill challenge, no one talks about the swinging elbow by Mitrovic on Cahill 5 seconds later. As usual, Sky comment on what they want. pic.twitter.com/8jIoZTyGUM

The ban will see Cahill miss the remaining two matches in Millwall's season, with the club currently sitting two points adrift of Derby Country in seventh place, with crucial matches against Middlesborough and Aston Villa to come.
More troubling for Cahill is the further hit to his match-form and fitness this suspension presents. Cahill has played 63 minutes for Neil Harris' side across 10 matches this season and only appeared off the bench in three of Millwall's five matches.
Add the renewed goalscoring form of Hibernian striker Jamie Maclaren - who wasn't included in Bert van Marwijk's previous squad, and Cahill's inclusion doesn't seem as certain as it once was.
