Nuneaton Borough's goalkeeper, Tony Breeden has hit one of the worst penalties to be captured on film during his side's clash with Stratford Town.

Breeden stepped up to take the spot-kick for his side and ended up hitting it well over the bar, before smashing a light on the terrace behind the goal.

Luckily no one was injured as the light smashed to the ground however, Breeden's pride would have well and truly been hurt.

Breeden, whose club plays in the seventh tier of English football, would've been hoping that the spot-kick wouldn't be seen by anyone other than those in attendance.

However, the video has well and truly gone viral with over 3.7 million people viewing the penalty on Twitter.

Breeden posted this reaction to his newfound unwanted fame.
