Socceroos goalkeeper Brad Jones had a moment to forget with an "unnecessary mistake" as Feyenoord won 3-1 over Twente in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.
Jones was caught out being too casual after receiving a backpass in defence in the 24th minute.
The 36-year-old dwelled on the ball before attempting to pass out, only to be intercepted by Adam Maher who poked into an empty net for 1-1.
Scores remained level until the second-half when Steven Berghuis and Nicolai Jorgensen netted to seal the win.

Feyenoord boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst said: “Of course Brad should not make such a mistake. He should have eliminated the ball.
“Because of that goal, we made it unnecessarily difficult for ourselves.”
Jones has been impressive at Feyenoord over the past 18 months, helping them win last season's Eredivisie title.
The ex-Liverpool and Middlesbrough shot-stopper earned a Socceroos recall recently, making his first international appearance in four years against Colombia.
