Some of them had trouble thinking of a life without football
Some of La Liga's past superstars reflected on their careers as footballers and what could have been their career path if they hadn't made it in football.
The video includes the likes of Diego Forlan, Fredi Kanoute, Julio Baptista, Christian Karembeu, Luis Garcia, Steve McManaman and Fernando Morientes.
Forlan, is best known for his time at Atletico Madrid where he mustered up 134 appearances and claimed the 2010 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball for his heroics with Uruguay.
Fredi Kanoute, made over 200 appearances for Sevilla winning the UEFA Cup in 2006 and 2007, and also clearly has some trouble imagining a life without football.
Julio Baptista is somewhat of a La Liga journeyman, playing for Sevilla, Real Madrid and Malaga.
Former French international, Christian Karembeu played for Real Madrid and is also part of a Paris-based consortium to expand the A-League to include a team from the Pacific Islands.
Steve McManaman is perhaps one of the more high profile Englishman to play in La Liga when he signed for Real Madrid in 1999 and remained there until 2003.
Fernando Morientes made almost 200 appearances for Real Madrid during their 'Galacticos' era before enjoying a stint at Liverpool.
