Promotion and relegation diehards, eat your heart out...
Round 8 of the New South Wales National Premier League was lit up last Saturday by an incredible volleyed equaliser in Wollongong Wolves' 2-2 draw with Sutherland Sharks.
The ball swept in from the left wing and was collected in scorpion fashion by Wolves' defender Nikola Djordjevic, who contacted sweetly with the heel of his foot to strike past the bewildered Sharks' goalkeeper.
It will no doubt go down as one of the finest goals of the NPL this season and may be hard to beat from the A-League as well.
