Leicester City manager Claude Puel received quite the shock when he was ambushed by Spider-Man at a recent Leicester City training session.

Leicester's Twitter account posted the video asking fans to guess the identity of the super-hero who had ambushed the unaware players.

Of course, it was Leicester's leading striker Jamie Vardy who donned the famous spandex suit in order to lift the mood of the players and staff alike.

The Foxes have recently suffered a bad run of form most recently losing to League Two side Newport County in the FA Cup, as well as Southampton in the league.

Despite being eighth in the Premier League there has been some questions other Puel's job security.

However, Puel appreciated Vardy's attempts to lighten the mood: "We need a Super-Hero I think. We all know about Jamie, I am not surprised it was him."

"He dressed up and it was a good laugh and freshness. He made a good warm-up with this and then for the game he changed into the right clothes.

"They had a day off on Wednesday and came back with a smile.

"I appreciate it a lot. It's important, like Spider-Man, we keep concentration and focus and keep a good atmosphere between us and around us. It is important to find a smile.

"Football is a game and we need to enjoy training sessions and games."

Leicester are set to face Wolves this weekend, where a loss could see them fall further down the table.
