Twenty three goals were scored across six fixtures as the FFA Cup Round of 32 got underway with 12 NPL clubs producing an exciting evening of action.
Arguably the highlight of the night, though, was the wild post-game celebrations in the changerooms of the victors, which has now become an FFA Cup tradition.
Avondale 4 (Sheppard 2', Katebian 54', Boland 72' pen, Christodoulou 86') Marconi Stallions 1 (Andrew 5'), ABD Stadium, Melbourne
Both sides traded goals inside the opening five minutes, before former Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory man Joey Katebian rifled in a superb strike 10 minutes after half-time.
Liam Boland converted a 72nd minute penalty and Evan Christodoulou added another late on to seal a big win.
