GOALKEEPER Brad Jones believes the Socceroos won't be daunted by anybody at the 2010 World Cup with just over two weeks to go before Australia's opening match against heavyweights Germany.

The 28-year-old Middlesbrough stopper, who is likely to be back-up for Mark Schwarzer in South Africa, admits he isn't sure how far the Socceroos can progress at the World Cup but claims they won't be fearing anyone.
"You never know until you get there how you're going to get on," Jones told the Evening Gazette.
"But the last World Cup went a long way towards showing we can handle ourselves against the better teams.
"We're a pretty close-knit group and everyone sticks together. So hopefully there'll be the same atmosphere in the camp this time and there will be a big team effort."
Following the thumb injury to Australia's number one Mark Schwarzer, Jones along with Adam Federici were given 45 minutes each to impress in the Socceroos 2-1 win over New Zealand last Monday.
Jones produced arguably the more impressive performance of the two and could be Schwarzer's replacement in South Africa should the Fulham custodian fail to recover from his injury.
The Perth-born shot-stopper added: "It's just a case of trying to show what I can do in training and hoping. Schwarzy's ticket is already booked, I think.
"The way Mark was playing last season, he's given himself a good chance of being number one.
"He keeps himself in good nick and he's achieved an awful lot in the game.
"He's coming up to his second World Cup, which plenty of people would be envious of. The number of caps he's won, he's got to go down as one of the all-time greats."
