Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed the club are interested in signing French midfielder Clement Grenier.
The France under-21 international is a regular fixture for Lyon, having come through their youth setup, and Wenger said he is a similar player to former Arsenal man Samir Nasri.
Grenier has featured 21 times for Lyon in Ligue 1 this season, scoring six and assisting six, and Wenger told Telefoot that he could be heading to the Emirates Stadium.
"We are following him. His intelligence of play pleases me," he said.
"He has interesting qualities. He reminds me of Nasri."
Wenger also sought to clarify his own future, rubbishing rumours that he is set to take over at French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
"PSG never offered me the manager job. (Club president Nasser) Al-Khelaifi didn't contact me," Wenger stated.
"You must accept the idea that a coach who is named will continue the year after. This is how it works in football."
