ARSENE Wenger has indicated AC Milan would receive short shrift if they were to make an offer for Arsenal's star striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani confirmed earlier on Friday the Togo forward, along with Chelsea's Didier Drogba and Tottenham star Dimitar Berbatov, is one of their key targets this summer.
Wenger is determined to hang on to Adebayor, who signed a new long-term deal last year, following the departure of Mathieu Flamini to Milan, while Alexander Hleb has also repeatedly been linked with a move away.
"If AC Milan are interested they just have to call me and get the answer they deserve," Wenger told a press conference, sponsored by Castrol, in Basle.
The Gunners boss also insisted much-admired Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas will not be leaving the Emirates, adding: "Fabregas will be at Arsenal next season, that looks obvious to me."
Arsenal's hopes of wrestling the Premier League title away from Manchester United could be boosted if Cristiano Ronaldo does move to Real Madrid.
And Wenger admitted it would be a blow to United if Madrid succeed in getting their man.
He said: "It depends if Manchester United want to sell him or not. He is under contract. In the modern game it is good that any player can go anywhere, but to be successful as a club you need stability."
Wenger has been reluctant to spend big money on transfers, preferring to bring in promising youngsters, but he is preparing to run his eye over the best Europe has to offer at the European Championships, which start tomorrow.
Asked if he would be looking at players in Euro 2008, Wenger added: "Any player, I'm here with my chequebook. I don't rule anything out, I can fall in love with any player."
