OLYROOS striker Bruce Djite says the squad is trying to put Danny Vukovic's woes out their mind ahead of the Mexico match.

Djite was unwilling to get involved in the Grand Final controversy but admitted he could understand how tempers could get heated.
"I know from my own experience of losing a grand final, not just one-nil but six-nil, emotion is very high in a situation like that," he said at Olyroos training today.
"Everyone reacts differently. Whatever happened has happened and you can't change the past and whatever comes of it,we're going to be bigger and better for it.
Right now I'm concentrating on the Olyroos as a whole. The team is bigger than one player and the boys need to concentrate on this game solely and give our best performance as it's important for our development and the road to Beijing."
He insisted the side were still confident, despite coach Graham Arnold's admission that the team had their heads downafter learning of the Danny ban.
"It was very positive today," said Djite. "Danny's not here. The mood is good. The boys aren't thinking about that. We are only thinking about Mexico.
"This is new to me. I've never had a team-mate in a position like Danny is. The best thing I can do is concentrate on this game and not let that worry me."
Tando Velaphi is expected to slip on the number one shirt in Vukovic's absence and Djite was delighted for his old friend.
"Tando is a fantastic goalkeeper," he said. "I trained with him at the AIS and he was our Under 20 goalkeeper.
"He's a fantastic shot stopper and very agile. Anyone's who's ever watched any A-League games would say he's a fantastic goalkeeper."
Injured skipper Mark Milligan's late omission from the squad flying out to the US tomorrow for Sunday's match in San Fransisco came as a surprise to Djite.
But he was sure the side didn;t lack experience to take the armband in Milligan's place.
He added: "We've got many players with great experience who have gone through at Under 17 and Under 20s level and this campaign.
"Stuart Musialik has captained us before so maybe he's up for it. But it's up to Arnie."
The US trip is Djite's first return home to the land of his birth after he left the States at the age of three.
It's good to go back but it's business as usual whether it's Saudi Arabia or the States," he said. "We're there for a game and that's all I'll be concentrating on.
"It's a massive challenge. Mexico won the Under 17s World Cup a couple of years back and have great players like Giovanni Dos Santos who plays for the Barcelona first team. That gives you a perspective of how great the team's going to be.
He added: "We are going to have to be at our best. We can't let anything else distract us or we could come undone. The boys are concentrating on the game and we're going to do our best to get the right result."
The Mexico game will be the latest step on the comeback trail for Adelaide hitman Djite and good preparation for his club's Asian Champions League campaign.
"I feel great now," he said. "It's disappointing that I missed half the season with this ankle injury but that's 100 percent now and I'm feeling very fit and very strong.
"Asian Champions League is coming up and there are few Socceroos commitments with the game against China on the 26th and I'm not sure if I'll be involved with or not.
"But I think if I can take it a game at a time - and concentrate on my club for the Asian Champions League and concentrate here when I'm with the Olyroos commitments - and just keep getting fitter and stronger and better, then I'm looking forward to the year ahead."
