HAMILTON Academical boss Billy Reid has revealed injury-prone Australian James Wesolowski should play next weekend despite picking up a hamstring injury on Saturday.
Wesolowski, who is on loan with the Accies from English Championship club Leicester, limped off just after half-time in Hamilton's 0-0 draw at St Mirren on Saturday in the Scottish Premier League.
The luckless young Aussie midfielder had only recently returned after a few months out due to a hamstring complaint, but Reid revealed his substitution was only precautionary.
"I don't think Wesolowski picked up a hamstring problem, it's just a wee pull on it," Reid said. "Wesolowski is just not getting going at the moment.
"He's not done anything so he should be okay for next week."
Hamilton's next game is against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League this Saturday.
