The 22-year-old Sydney-born midfielder has enjoyed a good spell on loan with Hamilton this season from English Championship club Leicester City.

Wesolowski appears out of favour at the Foxes although he still has a year to run on his contract at the Walkers Stadium.

"I've got my agent to speak to Leicester but I'm not to sure what the case is for next season," Wesolowski told Press Assocation Sport.

"I'm not going to be in the manager's plans there though and I think I'm going to have to move on.

"I've got one more year on my contract but I'd like to get something permanent.

"You'd always like that security of a few more years but it wouldn't be such a bad scenario if I did have to come back up here for another year."

Wesolowski, who has had his injury troubles in the past, has enjoyed a good run in Scotland scoring two goals in over 25 appearances for the Accies this term.

He continued: "I've enjoyed my football this year, I've been injury-free and that's helped me a lot.

"I spoke to the (Hamilton) gaffer the other day and he was asking what's the scenario with Leicester.

"I didn't really have much news for him but he's going to get in contact with them and hopefully we'll be able to sort something out."
