AUSTRALIAN midfielder James Wesolowski could be sold by newly-promoted Championship outfit Peterborough United as they prepare for life in England's second tier.
Wesolowski, 23, made 39 appearances in all competitions for Posh last term, including a full game in the club's play-offs final victory over Huddersfield Town.
However, Peterborough director of football Barry Fry told the Bourne Mercury that former Dundee United and Hamilton Academical midfielder Wesolowski could be sold to a Scottish club.
“There are a couple of Scottish clubs keen but there isn’t a lot of money in Scotland and I’ve not been able to do a deal as yet,” Fry said.
Wesolowski had joined Peterborough in June last year on a two-year deal after leaving Hamilton.
