SANDER Westerveld's move to FC Utrecht has collapsed after the goalkeeper failed a medical.
Former Liverpool and Real Sociedad goalkeeper Westerveld has a long-standing knee problem and, according to doctors, "remaining damage in the joint".
Westerveld, however, insists he is fit and ready for action in the Eredivisie.
"I think that I can keep freely," Westerveld told AD Sportwereld.
