Several A-League attendance figures are set to be broken this weekend when the season kicks off with the Sydney Derby at ANZ Stadium.
Wanderers face Sydney FC on Saturday night for the first time ever at the venue which holds a capacity of 83,500, with estimates of a crowd of approximately 60,000.
The current A-League record is 54,436 at Etihad Stadium for the 2006-07 A-League Grand Final when Melbourne Victory defeated Adelaide United 6-0.
The best-ever regular season attendance is 50,333 at the same venue during the same season when Victory hosted Sydney FC.

Wanderers told FourFourTwo it is hoping to see the crowd exceed 60,000 as anticipation ramps up this week.
The prospect of a bumper crowd has already provoked the triannual discussion about which derby is the biggest.
Wanderers full-back Jack Clisby has previously played in the Melbourne Derby, but having crossed from City in the off-season is set to line up for the red and black for the first time on Saturday.
“There’s been a lot of talk about which derby is bigger and which derby is better,” Clisby said.
“You have to look at the Sydney one, they’re both very competitive teams.
“I can possibly let you know after the weekend which one is better.
“I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a massive game, it’s meant to be the biggest crowd in the A-League so far.
“It’s a great way to start the a-league season.”

Both clubs are set to line up with new line-ups following widespread changes in the off-season, with Clisby one of many newcomers at Wanderers.
Youngster Jonathan Aspropotamitis is another player hoping to make his maiden Sydney Derby appearance, but knows the pressure will be up.
“If I do get the chance to play on Saturday, I need to keep a clear mind and just relish the opportunity,” he said.
“I need to play the best I can to help the team win.”
