FORMER Australian Idol judge Ian “Dicko” Dickson has told the new issue of FourFourTwo Australia magazine that Wanderers fans have redefined active support in Australia.
In the A-League Passions page, the TV star and current 2UE DJ reveals supporting Wanderers has become a major part of his life.
“I feel at home at Wanderland,” Dicko told the magazine.
“I’m a northern hemisphere Westie coming from blue-collar working class East Birmingham. I love it. If the game’s on at night I’ve got my Wanderers shirt on by midday, out having a coffee proudly parading it.”
He added: "When the call and response happens and all sides of Parramatta Stadium arc up, it's brilliant... the RBB have really shown Australian sport what it is to be an active supporter."
