Grozny now have seven points from three games thanks to today's victory, which came courtesy of Timur Dzhabrailov (13).
Dinamo had Vladimir Granat sent off in the 73rd minute and remain third despite the defeat.
Reigning champions Rubin Kazan drew 0-0 at home to FC Moscow while Saturn Moscow were 2-1 winners over Kuban Krasnodar.
Saturn's win came thanks to Dmitri Kirichenko's brace.
