Aussie winger Ryan Williams has finally made his long-awaited return to first-team football with Barnsley after 10 months on the sidelines.
Williams came off the bench in the 85th minute on October 22 in the 2-0 win over fellow English Championship side Brentford. He followed it up with another appearance off the bench last weekend in the 2-2 draw with Bristol City.
Williams had last played for the Tykes back in January. The Australian has been unavailable with osteitis pubis since the start of the year.

In August Williams told FourFourTwo his time out with injury had been a “bloody nightmare”. Yesterday the winger said he was over the moon to be finally back on the pitch again.
“It feels really good,” Williams said.
“A massive sense of freedom again. When you’re injured it’s all you think about and it’s tiring.
“So I’m happy to be back to normal for the first time in a long time.”
A 23-year old attacking midfielder, Williams has played for Australia at Under-20 and Under-23 levels.
His older Rhys plays for Perth Glory, along with his twin brother Aryn.
