Former Socceroo David Williams struck twice overnight to help his Hungarian side Haladas to a 3-2 victory over Vasas FC.
Williams notched two goals and set up one in the OTB Bank Liga fixture. The striker sent a left-foot shot past the opposing goalkeeper in the 25th minute.
In the second half he picked up an assist, with Lorant Kovacs scoring off his cross in the 51st minute. Williams then sealed the result in the 70th minute with his sixth goal of the season.
The victory sees Haladas move up to sixth place in the Hungarian First Division, 12 points behind league-leaders Videoton.
Williams left Melbourne City to join Haladas in February last year. The 29-year old has made 31 appearances since his move to Hungary.
