BRUGES, February 23 (Jupiler League) - Club Brugge closed the gap on the Jupiler League's top four with a 1-0 win over St Truiden on Friday.
The hosts left it late but an 87th-minute strike from substitute Jeanvion Matondo settled the outcome.
Club Brugge are now just one point behind fourth-placed Gent, who have a game in hand, while St Truiden remain 12th in the 18-team table.
