ENGLAND captain John Terry scored the winning goal for Chelsea but remained stony-faced following allegations that he had an affair with the girlfriend of a former team-mate.
Terry did not even smile as he was congratulated by team-mates after he headed Chelsea's second goal in a 2-1 win at Burnley to send his team four points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League.
He had earlier refused to comment on allegations that he cheated on his wife Toni with French underwear model Vanessa Perroncel, the ex-girlfriend of former Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge.
Bridge, 29, who has separated from Perroncel and now plays for Manchester City, today said in a statement that he did not intend to comment on the reports for the sake of the couple's son.
Perroncel is said to be considering her next move after signing up with publicist Max Clifford.
Despite the allegations surrounding him, it was business as usual on the pitch for Terry, although he received a yellow card for a foul in the 35th minute.
