A RICHMOND woman has been charged over the death of former Socceroo veteran Ian Gray who was found dead in his Sydney unit on Monday night.
The body of the former midfielder/defender was discovered by team-mates from Maccabi Hakoah FC after he missed a training session and didn't answer their calls.
Gray, 46, made 35 appearances for Australia and had an illustrious career in the National Soccer League before moving into coaching.
Police set up a crime scene at his Elizabeth Bay unit in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and yesterday arrested Sherryn Marie Davis, 20, at an address in nearby Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross.
Today she refused to appear in Central Local Court and remained in the cells below as her bail application was heard and denied.
She is charged with manslaughter by an unlawful and dangerous act as well as supplying heroin and stealing Gray's laptop, digital camera and clothes.
