Over the years there has been some quality football advertising from brands associated with football.....here's a few of our favourites.
In the UK Carlsberg produced this gem assembling probably the best pub team in the world in 2006.
There's also been some dodgy efforts. 2002 saw Pepsi's ad agency leave the stereotypes firmly in the locker (!) with this effort pitching a Beckham-led dream team against crack sumo outfit.
And who can forget Nike's creation "History" who mocked the Socceroos chances in a series of very cleverly written ads in 2006.
