Socceroos defender Bailey Wright skippered Bristol City as they missed out on the English League Cup final after a 3-2 loss to Manchester City overnight.
Wright’s Robins went down 5-3 on aggregate in their League Cup semi-finals, gallantly fighting back to level the scores after being 2-0 down.

Sergio Aguero doubled City’s lead, before the Robins pulled two goals back, only for Kevin De Bruyne to settle the game with the final kick on the counter.
