Turkish football website Ajansspor claims 23-year-old defender Gülüm, who impressed last season with second tier club Adanaspor, has agreed a deal with Besiktas in principle.

Besiktas president Yildirim Demirören met with Adanaspor chairman Bayram Akgül to seal the deal for the former Australia youth international who was linked with Galatasaray this off-season.

It is understood as part of the deal, Adanaspor have the option to take Gülüm back on loan this season.

Ex-Hume City junior Gülüm, who can play as a sweeper, central defender or left-back, has been in Turkey since 2006.
