A young Huddersfield Town fan has elected to pay part of Aaron Mooy's wages after his brilliant performance against Manchester United on the weekend.
Mooy found the back of the net on the way to Huddersfield's memorable 2-1 win over United on the weekend.
It was one of the Socceroos midfielder's best performances of the season, joining an elite list of Aussies to have scored against the Premier League giants.
A young fan by the name of Adam was at the game, and managed to find a £5 note at the game.
After being told by his father he was not allowed to keep it, Adam wrote a letter to the club with the £5 note attached inside.
The letter read: "Can you please ask Mr Wagner if Aaron Mooy can keep the money because he played very well and scored".
Adam's luck may continue after finding the note on the ground, with Mooy responding on social media that he wants to meet the young fan.
