THE Young Socceroos will face England in Cyprus in the lead up to the World Youth Championships in Egypt with Jan Versleijen adamant the Aussies will aim to win the tournament.
Versleijen said today at the announcement of the 21-man squad that Cyprus' conditions will replicate what he expects in Egypt where the Aussies have drawn Brazil, Costa Rica and Czech Republic.
The game against England will be part of the team's preparations that will also include games against USA and Trinidad and Tobago.
Versleijen will choose his Young Socceroos captain after the games in Cyprus.
